Measurement-based care is key to quality improvement (QI) in behavioral health. IMBH takes into account members' process measures and outcome measures to ensure quality care is being provided. Process measures are monitored through contracted clinicians implementing Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT). Outcome measures are monitored by assessing patients' reported outcomes through our internal registries.
Over the past decade, Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) has shaped the way individuals receive psychotherapy services. FIT is an evidence-based tool that monitors an individual's progress through therapy to ensure the treatment plan is individualized and effective. FIT is a measurement-based tool that provides process outcomes to ensure quality is being met. We inform and assist providers with implementing FIT.
Measurement-based care approach to treatment is based upon patient reported outcomes. IMBH provides members access to easy to use apps that allow the member to track their progress and for the care team to see if any adjustments need to be made the member’s treatment plan. At IMBH our care is patient-centered which is why Patient Reported Outcome Measurements (PROMs) are crucial. PROMs allow patients to be involved in their care and foster shared decision making.
For clients who are NCQA accredited, IMBH is well versed with HEDIS measures and can provide creative solutions to improve scores.
Chart audits are important in identifying clinical areas for possible improvement to ensure quality. Chart audits are beneficial in facilitating quality care by identifying process insufficiencies.
