Network Management

IMBH Core Providers follow evidenced-based practices, utilize frequent screenings to support measurement-based care, work with IMBH to coordinate care, and social services in the community. Our Core Providers understand the role of insurance and managed care principles.

IMBH Network Management:

Partnering With Community Partners

Partnering with a select number of quality providers to adequately support client membership.

Establishing Core Providers

IMBH Core Providers have agreed to specific expectations of care, including but not limited to utilizing evidenced-based practices, taking both a measurement-based and stepped-care approach to treatment, working with members to create individualized treatment plans, and working cooperatively with our case management and wrap-around services.

Access To Care

To ensure members are accessing the appropriate level of care, IMBH operates a telephonic triage program to evaluate member's needs, identify potentially urgent or emergent concerns, educate and direct consumers to the appropriate level of care, and assist the member with scheduling. For members with urgent needs, IMBH pre-purchases time with Core Providers, allowing same-day or next day appointments.

Provider Profiling

IMBH tracks your contracted provider's practice patterns and patient outcomes.

Provider Network Utilization Monitoring

IMBH monitors the types of treatments and referrals individual patients receive from network providers. We work to educate and assist providers to prevent over utilization of ineffective care.

Innovative Reimbursement Methodologies

IMBH supports providers benefiting for services provided. We work with client provider groups to identify all reimbursable services, and to create new programs to increase in-house delivery of care.

Establishing Expectations of Care

IMBH works to establish a strong relationship with providers and facilities in the community in order to ensure the quality of care that is expected by our client health plan members.
